Motivated by these words, I have been visiting Burma in South East Asia since the summer of 2005. I found great poverty among the people. The situation was deteriorating before Cyclone Nargis hit and now the whole world is aware of the plight of the ordinary people in Burma. In the past I have used my own resources to alleviate hunger, medical debt, provide hospital treatment and repair houses, but I realise there are other people who would help those in need in Burma if they were sure their aid would reach the people. It is for this reason that I am setting up this website. I am not in any way political, but because of the paranoia of the regime I want to remain faceless and where possible, nameless.
